New Delhi, India. At 90th INTERPOL - International criminal Police Organization - General Assembly announced the creation of the first Meteverse ever dedicates to the global police organization.

The law enforcement worldwide is the INTERPOL's priority, so the creation of its first Metaverse.

It will be fully operational: virtual users can explore INTERPOL General Secretariat headquarters in Lyon, France. 

Meta-consumers can also interchange with officers and also take immersive training courses in policing capabilities. 

The INTERPOL Metaverse is supply by a strong server which is INTERPOL Secure Cloud. 

 “The Metaverse has the potential to transform every aspect of our daily lives with enormous implications for law enforcement." Said Madan Oberoi, INTERPOL’s Executive Director of Technology and Innovation.

In fact, during a live demonstration, experts from INTERPOL showed how to verificate travel document and passengers screening using its capabilities in a Metaverse classroom. 

THIS IS NOT A GAME 

INTERPOL’S Metaverse is not a game. This is an online certified platform in which avatars are policemen full-fledged. 

If our physical world will move online, how can law checks and protects its community?

So, Meta-world is in a continue expansion and with it also crimes against children, data theft, money laundering, financial fraud, counterfeiting, phishing - and more - are multiplying. 

Mr Oberoi said “By identifying these risks from the outset, we can work with stakeholders to shape the necessary governance frameworks and cut off future criminal markets before they are fully formed”. 

SAME WORLDS 

The online world and the physical world too, now are the same. 

The way of our era is transformation of our hobbies, jobs, emotions, routine in a parallel online world. 

Metaverse now offers many opportunities for law enforcement in terms of smart working, networking, collecting and preserving evidence from crime scenes, and delivering training. 

From INTERPOL Secretary General Stock, “For many, the Metaverse seems to herald an abstract future, but the issues it raises are those that have always motivated INTERPOL supporting our member countries to fight crime and making the world, virtual or not, safer for those who inhabit it”.
