In fact, Binance decided to keep privacy coins.

In a comment, the cryptocurrency exchange wrote: “After carefully considering feedback from our community and several projects, we have revised how we classify privacy coins on our platform to comply with EU-wide regulatory requirements”.

At the beginning Binance’s idea was to remove privacy tokens from france, Italy, Spain and Poland starting from June 26.

Binance is in line with what is happening within the EU concerning MiCA - Market in Crypto Assets. EU policy makers aim to make Europe a major hub in the crypto and digital assets sector.
