Carnegie Mellon University is a famous university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

It received $20M to invest in a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) institute. 

The Carnegie Mellon University will encourage the upgrade of AI tools to help researchers to take decisions in social situations - like natural disasters. 

 Aarti Singh will be the AI institute director. She said that AI will play a crucial role in helping decision makers. 

Carnegie Mellon University will contribute to create a community in which both public health official and emergency managers will collaborate each others.
